Most Genstore apps are built by third-party developers, with some developed in-house. These apps enhance the platform’s capabilities, offering merchants comprehensive solutions. Developers can use Genstore’s open API and tools to create new features or integrate external services, improving efficiency.

Types of apps

To enhance the development experience, Genstore provides two types of apps, allowing partners to build and test their applications effectively:

• Public apps: Partners can submit public apps to Genstore app store, where merchants can download and install them. All public apps must pass Genstore’s app review process.
• Draft apps: Draft apps are used for development and testing within a developer’s test store. These apps are not publicly accessible and can only be installed and tested in a partner’s development store. Draft apps offer a secure testing environment, ensuring the app is fully functional and ready before its official release.
