Get approval to build
Before publishing a payment extension application on Genstore, the following three approval processes must be completed in sequence:
- Payment partner application
- Payment extension review application
- Payment application review application
Submit payment partner application for approval
Only payment partners who meet Genstore's requirements and pass the entry review can create and publish payment extensions in the developer center.
Review criteria
Genstore will evaluate payment partners based on the following criteria to ensure the security, compliance, and stability of the payment ecosystem:
- Business qualifications: Must be a legally registered payment service provider (PSP), acquiring institution, bank, or licensed payment institution.
- Compliance certification: Must comply with applicable local laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, payment licenses, funds clearing licenses, etc.).
- Business coverage: Must be able to provide real and usable payment services for Genstore merchants and support settlement and withdrawal in target regions.
- Risk management capability: Must have a risk and fraud monitoring system to ensure secure transaction environments.
- Customer support: Must provide ongoing technical and customer support for merchants.
Application requirements
The partner application must submit the following materials. A detailed form can be obtained by emailing paymentdeveloper@genstore.ai:
| Collected Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Payment platform info | Payment platform name, website, business introduction, and supported payment methods list |

Application process
Submit application
Payment service providers should apply via email: paymentdeveloper@genstore.ai.
- The email must include: company name, business contact name, and contact information. Genstore will respond within 2 business days after receiving the email.
Partner authorization
Once approved, Genstore will grant payment partner qualifications.
Partners will gain access to Genstore’s payment application-related features (including but not limited to APIs, SDKs, and other tools).
Create application and apply for extension permission
Partners must create a new application in the Genstore developer center.
- After creating the application, send the application name, client key, and other details to paymentdeveloper@genstore.ai.
- Genstore will grant the payment extension development and API calling permissions within 2 business days.
Submit payment extension for review
After creating and configuring the payment extension in the developer center, the partner must submit the extension version.
- Each new version will automatically enter the review process, and a new extension version cannot be created until the current version has been approved.
- During the review, partners can install the application in the development store for testing and confirm before submitting the extension for approval.
- Once the extension is approved, the partner can proceed with submitting the payment application review.
- If there are updates to the extension configuration, a new version must be submitted for review, and merchants will use the latest configuration.
Submit payment application for review
The payment application review process follows the same procedure as other applications. Payment applications must complete the information filling in the Application Details Page and submit it for review.
Notes:
- The Embed app in Genstore admin option for the payment application must be set to No;
- The payment application is only allowed to access payment-related API permissions.
For detailed processes, please refer to Create payment extension application.
TIP
Updates to extension versions and payment application information reviews are independent of each other. Extensions can submit new versions for review separately.
